Weekend Dimes

I went to dump my weekly finds....got $1498 back from a order of 2 boxes of Halves and 2 of dimes, and some random pocket change (difference were some NIFC Halves and a few silver dimeS). The I started wandering to other branches asking for boxes of dimes.

The first branch gave me 2 boxes without any hesitation.
The second branch didn't want to give me any boxes to short the tellers...so I got 3 rolls
The third branch had 2 different tellers asking me why I wanted them....they must be on the look out for businesses and want to charge businesses for the coin service. They said they'd give me the coins this time, but want me to open a business account....sorry....no. If I tell them I am a coin collector, are they going to be nicer to me, or should I just turn this into a dump back until they gripe at me again?

4 boxes of dimes, 6 wonderful silver Rosies.

Box 1: 1964D
Box 2: 2x 1964D
Box 3: 2x 1964D (I'm seeing a pattern...)
Box 4: 1960D (not a 64...odd)

I cashed out and await my $1500 order from my credit union next Thurs.

When they aski me why I want the rolls. I just tell them my daughter is trying to put a coin collection together for 4H and they give them to me with no problem. . :laughing7:

i just say im a collector and if you dont do big volume you never find the needle in the haystack and the tellers always say something like ahh ya that makes sense, good luck!

I would advise against saying you are only looking for silver though. If they push that line of questioning I just say, ya I have found some but I'm after the rare stuff.
