No great single days, but when you combine all days together it makes a great grouping of finds!
Thursday my wife and I hit a field that we have been to several times, also the field where she got her first LC a short while back. The farmer smoothed the field out and it was enough to uncover a couple goodies, she got the 1847 LC and I got the general service CW button.
Friday we hit a field and neither of us got much a button or two, couple wheats
Saturday morning we hit another field, she got the cool Chevrolet emblem, which was a surprise, because I have found 3 items from Ford from this field, what in the world was this farmer thinking buying a Chevy....lol. I got a clay marble and buttons. Also I found the good for 5 cent token, and toasted 1902 indian.
Saturday afternoon, she went to work and I hit another previously detected field with Jim and the farmer just worked it, Jim snagged his first ever 2 cent piece, and I got a sweet 1900 barber quarter. He got an indian, and I was super lucky to spot the two points laying on the surface.
So all together the finds made for a good weekend!!!!!
