I stumbled onto a curious wooded area in a old neighborhood in Pittsburgh while browsing maps. This area is surrounded by century+ year old homes and is public property. There's parks nearby so I wasnt sure if someone beat me to any loot. I found 11 wheaties (not pictured), 1 Buffalo, 1 Merc and some type of Native American Silver. I did the magnet test, it doesn't stick. It makes a silver ringing sound when I drop it on a table. The reverse is blank. Any info or ideas are welcome.

It definitely looks silver, can you post a couple additional pics, side and back. Looks like a broken ring from the one view. Congrats!

Oh yeah I forgot I found these too ...

Nice going MH!! Good to see you posting again.

I used to see those for sale when I was little half a century ago. They were sold enmasse in souvenir shops. I do not know what metals they were made from, they were very popular.

Nice finds. I’d be going back real soon.

Could the indian silver be half of a small cuff?

That is a really unique find! Finds like that are what keeps the daily grind worthwhile!

Very cool find and nice coin shooting! :occasion14:
