Weekend Finds: Spike's Dog Tag!
I managed to get out for a bit of hunting on Sunday. Todd Lipe was nice enough to invite me on a little "Hicktown Hunt". We drifted away from the bright lights of the big city, and towards the areas where Todd feels more at home...
We hit a couple of old homes (late 1800s to early 1900s). The targets were a bit sparse, however, we were both able to retrieve a few keepers. Here is what I got:
- 1935 Rabies tag. The best part is that it has "SPIKE" scratched into the reverse.
- Brass key hole. It had rusted parts stuck to the rear of it. If you can ID this, please do so.
- 1897 IHC.
- No date green buffalo.
- Wheaties, including '14 & '18.
