Wow! man this was a heck of a weekend. I went to hunt some farm fields where houses used to stand. Didn't find a bunch, and the 1889 indian was the only coin.
Lots of glass and pieces of crocks on top of the ground. While heading to the fields I see an old building that they are cleaning out, and I assume are about to tear down.
Some guy pulling boards out of the building said I could hunt around outside. As you can see in the pictures they had scooped all the contents out the door and onto the ground. All of the items pictured were on top of the ground, items that must have lain in someones desk drawer for many years.
I about fell out when I seen the coin holder, but it was empty.
Oklahoma tax token was with the keys, mother of pearl and axe. The axe I can only assume came from the prohibition era, and was geared toward women since it came from a stove company. Enjoy the pictures, a lot of American nostalgia there. It was good fun seeing it all.
