Spent the weekend camping, hiking and panning on Mt. Blue, bushwacked to some beautiful spots!

I didn't have a whole lot of time for panning after I missed the wrong drainage and sidetracked for a couple hours. I did find some bigger reddish garnets and a small amount of fine gold but the real money was hiking up the nine cascades!

Living on a concrete slab over a cesspool (as diggimup calls s fl, lol) for 30 something yrs,
one tends to forget the beautiful mountainous areas in our country.
Reminds me of N Car. (maybe a creek or two in Ga.) Just beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
