Weekend Silvers

I was able to get out on Saturday. It was cold and icy, with the top couple of inches of dirt frozen in some places.

I went to a older school. I was able to get some clad, a couple of Wheaties, a "Joy" Christmas pin and a fired .45 slug. I quickly tired of that and went to a vacant lot that used to have houses on it. This place has been hunted by many other MDers. It started out slow, the obvious areas had been cleaned out... no good signals. I was finally able to locate an area that used to be a backyard. I picked up a few Wheaties, then a silver Rosie showed up... a sight for sore eyes, as the silver has been a bit scarce so far this year. About 10 minutes later, another silver Rosie... NICE. I ended up with two silvers and a dozen Wheaties.

Hate I was sick all weekend,would have liked to been there so the JOY could of been spread a round a bit. Congrats,looking forward to the up coming weekend.

Sweet day for sure pulling out a couple Rosie's and wheats from a hunted place. I'd take that in warmer weather never mind the middle of the Winter.

You've got all the detectors to find silver just go do it. Also if your finding Rosies the older stuff should be there

Nice going on the silvers tom!, we're hoping next week some of our ugly snow melts w highs in the 40s.

Nice Tom. Glad someone is able to get out and dig. Not sure when/if I'll ever get back out based on the way things have been going with the weather.
