Weekly Score with September and Year to date totals

Folks,
September amazed me with some great numbers and good variety! This week was not my best of the month, but was still quite good! This weeks take totaled 3 90% (all Bens), 34 40%, along with a clad 1974-S proof and a Jordanian coin. One of the 40% coins showed intentional defacing on the date. I can make out a D mint mark on the front, so I know its not a 90%er and that it is a 68 - 70. Hate to see it so specifically scared up.

September gave me my best month since March. I pulled 26x 90% (4 Walker's, 16 Ben's, and 6 Ken's) and 116x 40%. Here it to October! Let's hope we all do well this fall!

So far this year, I'm at 151 90% and 521 40%ers. This hobby is a real kick and it is totally worth the work.

This week's box by box totals and pics follow.

Box 1: 2x 90% (1961-D and 1962-D) and 12x 40% (1966, 4x 1967, 4x 1968-D, and 3x 1969-D).
Box 2: 2x 40% 9x 40% (1965, 2x 1966, 3x 1967, 1968-D, and 2x 1969-D).
Box 3: 2x 40% (1965 and 1969-D).
Box 4: 1x 90% (1953); and 11x 40% (1965, 5x 1967, 2x 1968-D, 2x 1969-D, and one defaced date).

Yes it does. In 2010 I pulled 137 90% and 602 40% halves. I only occasionally work pennies, nickles, and dimes; so I don't track totals on those.

Never can tell what will pop out of a half dollar roll! I've pulled some interesting coins, so I thought I'd add a few extra shots for motivation!
Probably the best foreign coin I have found was a 1918 Indian one rupee coin -- sterling from the time when India was a British Colony. I have also pulled a number of British large pennies. They are always fun. The oldest was 1862 a worn coin, with the young Queen Victoria as Monarch.
