I got this so-called "Indian Rock" at an auction and wonder if it is an unusual-shaped rock or something used by Indians. It fits neatly into ones hand. The edges are tapered, coming down to a consistent width.....maybe about a half inch. Any help would be greatly appreciated before I put it in my yard sale.

Depends on where it was found and with what kind of other artifacts it could or couldn't be a artifact if it was found on a mountain top alone prob geofact found in bottom land with other tool maybe a spade or another type of digging tool IMHO lol

Look at the end that would strike something if held like your holding it...there is no evidence of any impact..its not a hammerstone.
Looks like a natural rock.

Sorry, welcome to the site. I hope you didnt pay much for it?
I dont see any use wear on it but if it had been dirty I might of picked it up while hunting.
