I've never heard Rush say that ALL liberals are stupid. Much the opposite. Those in power are quite the strategists. They have worked extremely hard and been very successful in taking control of those who rely only on the mainstream for their information. They control the language. They control the delivery medium. They control the "low information voters" who are looking for a hand out instead of a hand up.

I have, on the other hand, heard him call the conservative leadership stupid more than once.

Rush is too marginalized by his catering to the RINOs. If not, he would have lambasted Romney long before he had a chance to get the nomination.

Personally, even with the baggage, Herman Caine was a much better man than Romney ever could hope to be.

"As said it and more" is not the same as did say it. He is one of the most recorded by the left and I am sure you can find something if you put your mind to it, but you may have to cut and paste to make it happen.

Many folks that have traditionally voted republican are very disappointed in the direction (or lack there of) of the Republican Party. I want to see the party return to its fiscal conservative roots that was lost during the bush spending years. Rush prob has other issues with the party. But either way I think everyone can agree that after this last showing something needs to change.

The Bush spending I agree he spent to much but How about Obama? He is out spending everyone in history.

Completely agree. That is why I voted Romney and not Obama. Diff is that I expect that from the democrats, that's why I am a reg republican. I do NOT expect that from an elected republican president. If I wanted Bush's socialist drug program, etc, etc I would have voted democrat that year. Obama was at least the "enemy" who you know. I don't think anyone should be surprised at what he is doing from a spending standpoint and his health care plan. And we were all allowed to vote. I blame the reps for having such a poor platform. They basically handed the election over due to incompetence.

I don't want to vote for a candidate because I think the other candidate is worse. I want to vote for a candidate because I believe in that candidate. I disagree on what Romney should have done. I think the republicans needed - and need - to let people know what they stand for as opposed to that they just don't stand for what Obama stands for. I want a Republican Party, not an anti- democrat party. Lets hope they can get their act together before the next election.

Diesel, hold our party accountable for their actions or lack there of. Don't let them brainwash you into thinking you must vote for them because you only have one alternative. Make them earn your vote and not just get it free by default because you don't like the democrats. If this makes me a liberal then guilty as charged. I call it accountability. Best.

Stockpicker, I agree with you that I want to vote for a candidate because I believe in them. I believe in Romney much more than I believe in Obama. Romney was not my first choice but our party has had worse candidates (John Mccain) and yes I do hope our part does a better job of getting the message out. Yes I do hold the republicans accountable as I align myself with the Tea Party. It's not that I don't like the democrats (I have many friends who are democrat) it's more about values to me. Whats best for our country is traditional values not the ones or lack of ones Hollywood and the mainstream media try to promote. I agree with you on accountability. I believe the lack of personal responsibility is the biggest fault of modern day culture.

No I don't pick up savage on my radio at work, hence rush. And I am certain I could find it if " I put my mind to it" as you say. But I don't feel a need to convince you of it. If you listen to rush much at all you will hear him paint all libs with one brush. I just don't think that's fair or true with either side.
