Well a far as I'm concerned I DID it!!

The hubby bought us a new to "us" hot tub, we needed a ditch to run the elecrtical. What a a era of finds. I put one in what is it, Ty said I had to use "cool" instead of "pretty" so both guys and girls would get it.

We found some pottery, bottle tops, arrow head shards, a wide range of COOL nails . Ty said the thin lead piece is an old rubberband that hardeened . A what is it that is soaking and showing some red and goldish color has a pin for a backing / We did get a heartbreaker of a drill, and what I am told by a few to be a ROSETTE! YES!!!!!! Finally a pretty cool find!

AWESOME finds for digging a hot tub pit !!!!!!!!

Maybe a good idea to keep digging and putting the hot tub installation on hold for awhile The wide range of finds including worked flint , anything can be there ! and right outside your house !!

If I dug a hole in my yard and found relics like that you can bet by the following day the ENTIRE yard would be excavated

Have no fear......my Hubby is a heavy equipment operator, there are always holes being dug! I have detected this yard for 3 years with 3 different detectors, there is plenty more out there, just got to clean those precious nails out of the way.

Seriously I eye ball most of the arrow heads, the frost kicked up a 1895 Indian head this past winter in the driveway, as a TN member says.......Keep your eyes n the ground.
