I haven't gotten out in quite some time. I have been so busy with building my pigeon loft and then training them. Today's weather was supposed to be 48°f, so I decided to get it a look see. I called my buddy Don and we decided to to meet at 10 a.m.
We found a nice old house and were given permission to search. We were told beforehand that someone had searched it about 2 years ago. After 4 hours we realized that the yard had been cherry picked. I did manage a 1951d Rosie.

Well at least there was one still hiding there for you. I like the Vette. I bet that pipe cutter proably still works with some WD-40.

Kevin, I'm not surprised that you pulled a silver coin out of a site that had been cherry picked. Good going.

You did well.:icon_thumright:

Nice finds! That's the year I was born and haven't found one yet!

Beats 107 memorial pennies. Great job!!!!!!!!!!

Silver is always great- Congrats!

I'll take a Rosie any day. I think this might be my first time seeing tubing cutters posted!

Attaboy,Windman. Nice find of the silver Rosie.

Way to go! That's always rough and disappointing to have been beaten to a place you thought would be good. Still nice to find silver.
