Well Hunting

I have gotten permission to detect a property that is getting ready to be developed. In addition to three old houses and work shops, there are three bored wells (18 - 24" diameter). My question is: have any of y'all done any magnet fishing in old wells and, if so, what interesting things have you found?

The ones with oil in them are the best but you can not mag fish them . Old hand dug country wells seem to produce some very interesting treasures, just try to find some of the videos on that subject and you can view the results.

The well at fort ticonderoga (good question if the spelling is right) was cleaned out by the archs,they got something like 5,5gallon buckets worth.
