Glad you had a good Christmas but too bad about the park not working out. It sounds like you are convinced that the Cortes is IDing pull tabs correctly. From now on stop digging them unless the number jumps around or the sum mode seems to give different results. At the tot lot you can only do the sides of the poles parallel to the angle of the pole, vertical poles are easier. do around the poles before you hunt the open areas,and turn the sensitivity down before you do them. MOST of the mothers at the tot lot with their kids don't drink beer so not a lot of pull tabs. I'm really happy for you that you got your first silver dime. Way to go! We have a couple of months of winter to go here in CT. so I'm looking for a warmish day to go to the salt beaches to detect. Joe
