Liberated this GREAT medallion from the ground in Hattiesburg last year, when I still COULD MD without risk of killing myself. ( & at 300+ LBS combined with the Mississippi Heat & Humiditiy, not getting a lot of MDing time in NOW either

Reason I stuck this in "Today's Finds" is because I JUST now "un-earthed" it AGAIN ..... from the mountain of stuff on my desk. Actually forgot I had it & just now ( Almost ) got the same thrill as the first time digging it up !!
Measures 1 1/4 in diameter & seems to be made of PEWTER (?). The ring in the eyelet is obviously brass & the attached disk on the back seems to be some sort of "gold-washed" aluminum.
