Well, it IS almost Football Season .... isn't it ??

( I can hear ole' Hank Williams Jr. warming up now ....

)

Liberated this GREAT medallion from the ground in Hattiesburg last year, when I still COULD MD without risk of killing myself. ( & at 300+ LBS combined with the Mississippi Heat & Humiditiy, not getting a lot of MDing time in NOW either >:(

)

Reason I stuck this in "Today's Finds" is because I JUST now "un-earthed" it AGAIN ..... from the mountain of stuff on my desk. Actually forgot I had it & just now ( Almost ) got the same thrill as the first time digging it up !!

Measures 1 1/4 in diameter & seems to be made of PEWTER (?). The ring in the eyelet is obviously brass & the attached disk on the back seems to be some sort of "gold-washed" aluminum.

Hope this was worth the look for you. Are YOU ready for some Football ??

That is a neat find. But what really amazes me, is that all these people are smart enough to like the best hobby there is. But don't realize that the Colts are the best team in the NFL.

Wasnt the east bowl in laurel? Hattiesburg probably won it. I grew up in Petal the heat does take its toll.
