Well, I've been lucky (IMHO) CONFEDERATE BUTTONS!

Not counting the two Virginia buttons I found in December 2014, I just found two more nice Confederate buttons. My latest hunt on Wednesday produced a North Carolina State Seal Two Piece, it appears it may have been involved in a fire do to the black crust on it? Nothing was done other than a damp brushing. Also found was a rare Richmond Labs Sharpes .54 Caliber. Last week I pulled a Block A Confederate Button. I'd say I am on a roll! All found with my XP Deus. You can visit my Youtube page (Wes-N-VA) or my Facebook page to see more! Thank you and HH! Any ID on the brass key looking thing please let me know! Thanks!

pretty nice, waiting on my deus

SWEET man . . .

Big time roll. Not sure on that brass item. Any block button is killer in my book!

Nice collection of finds you've got there, including the brass item. Looks like it may be a lock plate to take a fancy curved-tooth skeleton key. My guess anyway.

Nice recovery on the sharpes, the "A" and the "NC" although they have seen better days.
Is that copper wedding band in that pile? Love to find those.
Best of Luck!

Fantastic finds one and all! Excellent job

Congrats on some great buttons!!

Hope the good luck continues!!

That is some pretty finds right there. Congrats.

Your very lucky nice buttons...

Thanks Barry! They maybe rough, but they are still Confederate! Yes, it was a copper wedding band. It would just fit on the top of my index finger so it is very small.

Another button (find) you don't see much of. You are on a roll. As a new Deus user, what settings are you using?

Awesome button finds! Congrats!

Very nice relic hunt!

Confederate! "Best of the Best"

Those copper wedding bands do tend to be small. I would guess that in those days men didn't wear wedding bands so much as women did. I've found at least 3 or 4 of them and they are all pretty small. So small that I've questioned if they were made for kids. Of coarse the rings probably would fit some of the girls who got married so young.

Fantastic finds. I am still trying to find my first CW button. All of the fronts are gone on the ones that we are finding. Congrats

Very nice Wes,I remember those two V.a buttons you found, two in one hunt is mostly unheard of these days. You are on a roll man.I would agree your N.C. button was probably in a fire.still not in bad shape, that one is a staff button.Sweet finds, congrats.

In using the GM mode, but I have been playing with the sensitivity some and also going down to 12khz. Thanks again!
