found this lovely little thing on the surface at a spot that yeilds everything from indian items to modern zinc cents ---after a recent storm went thru --I went to MD there (wet ground conducts better to get at deep stuff)--I saw it 1/2 buried on the surface --at first I thought it was a musketball but it didn't ring up as metal -- so I picked her up -- humm english georgian era clay marble --- floridas "colonial english" time frrame was 1763 to 1783 -- a mere 20 years *--- I also found these indain trade beads at the "spot" by eyeballing --the beads have a hole running long ways thru the bead to allow them to be sewn on . (plus the 1996 "zinc cent" ---oh ah --- LOL) Ivan

the spot had once held an english / indain trading post during the american revolutionary era -- it was destoryed by american raiders from georgia --- and that is just one of the many things there were once at the "spot" over the years
