Welsh gold and quartz

I had the luxury of taking a Holliday down in to the gold rich rivers of Wales, England. Although my panning efforts were futile I did how ever bring home some lovely chunks of quartz with veins of gold running through also iron pyrite in some also. Pictures to follow soon.

Thankyou Hun, I'm only 17 so much still to learn but just taken them now, only phone pictures as my macro lens is broken on my camera. Hope you enjoy the photos

Yeah I was thinking pyrite also but still good looking.

Do you crush it or what do you do? Maybe worth posting in the hard rock mining section to, be they'd like it!

I may just keep this as it is such nice veins through the rocks, but if I was to sort the gold out I would grind it down and pan it
