Silver war nickel that is. I was reading coiny's thread yesterday and decided to hit the sites that I found silver at earlier this summer, it worked! I found about $1.24 in clad, five wheaties, and my first war nickel. I also found a 1980 Susan B Anthony dollar. The wheaties were a 1952, 1951, 1945 D, 1919, and I have to clean the other one better, I think a 1940 something. It was so hot and humid, I was sweating so much I could not see. My glasses were fogging up and there was not a dry spot on me, to clean them, ha. I thought for a few of minutes that I had a 1930 dollar, it was all I could read, lol. I was way back in the woods, alone, muddy, glasses fogged up, and just so excited. I kept calling my son and he was telling me to leave, so I would not find everything without him. He was laughing too and told me good luck, keep looking. A thunder storm rolled through and I got scared I was going to get hit by lightning. I had to leave early. I barely scratched the surface there, I'll be taking him back there soon to find more.
