I went to a rec field five miles from home to hunt for quarters and there were plenty, 40 in all.

One of those quarter-sounding signals was quite shallow, this sterling ring....

This one was made in Thailand and likely sold through QVC in the late 1990s.
It was marketed by the Pranda Group, a wholesale jewelry manufacturer.

I wasn't digging too many mid-tones but this one sounded compelling..... a bale seal.

Great to get the clad but also some silver and an old item.

Thx BLK HOLE! The ring has 13 settings (oddly enough) but one stone is missing.

I know I’m late to the party but wanted to say how nice the 925 ring is. Good hunt and Congratulations!

Thx RustyGold! It's a 925 party. Here's to more rings in 2018 for us both, though I expect you'll find many more by water hunting.

Thx Washingtonian! That may have been my best clad quarter haul, certainly for 2018 anyway.
GL & HH!!

Nice jewelry find! :icon_thumleft:

Thx Professor. That was this past Tuesday AM. The weather forecast was for the possibility of snow, but it held off until evening. Winds were out of the NE but I was plenty warm and the only detectorist. Saw as many or more dogs as people; it seems to be a popular place for locals to bring their pets.

Good luck and Happy hunting!
