I rarely get skunked, even at the beach. There have to be hundreds and hundreds of coins at this site, all pre Civil War, but detecting is not allowed. I am very picky where I dig because it hurts to dig these days.

Now don't get me wrong. I did eyeball some bottle caps, cigaretts butts and such, just didn't pick up any.

That's all right. I have a new spot at a Confederate sympathizers house. History says all the kids joined the Confederate army and all survived (I think). I was there early today, real early, got a few things. Going back Site won't be there long (construction.)

The best debate is with a historian. "Well I never read that there was any such place/building/home/homestead there in that spot."
