We're in Redding CA, looking for a place to play!

Wife & I are on RV vacation, in Redding for the moment. We are looking for a place/claim to sluice, crack some bedrock, and metal detect for the next few days if someone would like company!
25' Class C can get to a lot of places and park almost anywhere.

Also looking to visit a prospecting shop or two while we're out here.
Heading towards Colorado after Cali, looking to prospect along the way.

As cantankerous as he seems online, he's a pretty nice feller. Home-made stew & cornbread, drove us all over a few claims, told of and showed us some of this areas history too. Great guy, great place to visit!

Hoser is quite a rig! The things he knows are uncanny.
He gave us the $10 tour, gave us some history on the area, showed us some great places!
Redding is a beautiful area and has great history.

We'll be just West of Denver for another week, maybe more... then on to meet more folks as we slowly work east.
