West Australian Newbie/Looking for a active community.

Hello I'm Ryan, I'm based in Perth, Western Australia and looking to join treasure hunting/gold detecting communities online either via this platform/facebook/youtube/instagram etc.

I'm 27 and have a interest in Australian mining industry and I was born on the east side of Australia in Coffs Harbour where lots of gold was originally found in the 1800-1900s. I have read many mining/fossicking books and have done a lot of my own research, I have recently relocated to Perth, WA and am in the process of purchasing my first metal detector.

Any help or direction you are able to offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
