Western themed buckle

Back to cellar hole got between some tires sticking out of ground got this Hickok brand buckle. I like the lasso design for the G

Neat find. The Hickok Manufacturing Company of New York applied to register ‘HICKOK’ in that style for ‘Buckles not of precious metal for personal wear’ on 17 September 1947 (granted on 27 September 1949). The registration expired on 3 November 1992 after failure to renew.

I believe they made some buckles used as prizes in carnival crane games.
The G monogram would not have been a likely prize though; too specific
