HI, all Question , if you are going to metal detecing in the water wich one would you buy ? as I an going to hunt in the water befor the snow come and it will, I an on the east coast, Long Island Thanks AKA ---> Joe

Waders are for gold prospecting, like sluceing or panning, but if you are going to get in it over your head, I would definitely go for the wet suit.

A dry suit up your way might be better for a longer season. I can't stand any water below 75 degrees for very long. I once tried a true dry suit surfing up in Marblehead, Massachusetts and the water was 58F. The suit made this very comfortable except for getting splashed in the face. It seemed weird to float around in such cold water and not really feel much beyond a coolness next to your skin.
