WHAT A GREAT DAY!!!!

Well each day above ground is a blessed one but today was pretty special. First and foremost I received an answer to a PM I sent to KURIOS1!! Good news Kevin is still with us and battling back from his severe stroke. He is working hard and his spirit is strong! Keep him in our prayers and I know he will be out swinging in the near future.

Really after that the rest of what I have to say is really not that big of a deal. I was at my permission “The Wheat Field “ trying to eek out a few keepers as I have pounded that place really hard. After working the backyard and snagging a few more wheaties (got #250 tonight) I decided to call it a night so started toward the truck, next to the house and fence is a big holly bush and I decided that behind that bush is one of the few places I have not covered with my coil so I sucked it up and pushed my way behind it. Not a lot of room to swing but I got a 82-84 signal so I thought hey got me some silver. Popped the plug and lo and behold it was a 1841 large cent!!! It’s toasty but it’s mine!!

Last but not least after one full year of detecting I sent my dug trash to recycling.

Wish Kevin a speedy and full recovery from me. It will be 5 years in September since my wife had her stroke, and if you were standing in front of her having conversation, you would never know it. It was pretty scary, when they put her in the Life star helicopter and flew her from one hospital to another talking about emergency brain surgery. She was/is a fighter, and for that I am thankful. All the best to him, and I hope he is back online here and in the field again soon. Congrats on your LC. Ron in Illinois
