what a rip off..Nj beach tags

without ranting the city has a law that allows new residents to this country and city to purchase a home tax free collect rent and not pay any city taxes this is a 5 year grace period after that they have to be like everyone else so the end result is homes rented to the worst pieces of society trash (criminals) and they sell or trade these homes every 5 years. In some cases we have found two family homes housing 8-9 familys . And for anyone traveling down the NJ tpk it's the only roadway where you can travel the distance, close your eyes take an intoxicating sniff and know where you are

OK IM done ---sorry all

Which city has that law? I'd love to see that one.

Also - I'd pay to get out of New Jersey.

Hiya Rae. Some of the beaches by me charge too, but what we do is go real early like 6:00 and hunt for a few hours before they start asking where your tag is. They don't start bugging you until approx 9:30 or 10:00 by which time we're pretty much already done hunting anyway. I also agree NJ sucks.
HH, Mike in NJ

Isn't their saying, "New Jersey and you, perfect together". Seaside Heights area is tags also but, if you stop and think, the times we want to hunt are free at all these tagged beaches. I would not want to hunt mid summer , mid day...
Early am, later in the eve. Spring and Fall, for me,,Free.... And one thing that's is nice, Unless I am wrong,, and according to my wife that's often,, NJ never stops folks from MD'ing on any of their beaches.
I feel bad for the residents of NJ, like I mentioned above I know quite a few and none of them have much good to say about THEIR state as I am hearing hear also.

yes earlier is not needing a tag..but I also have to find out when they do that thing on the beach, ya know that machine that cleans it or whatever its called...

Our beach does it around 3-4 am, sometimes 5 am....so they do it really early in the morning. And the reason I know...as we stayed at the beach for a week (just for a mini vacation LOL)...and I saw them out there scooping up all the good stuff!!

omg I dont think I could function at the time of day yikes.

I need to find out where they dump there scrapings!!!! That might be a good spot to detect!

I have watched them rake the beach and I'm not really sure how deep they go. Any one know? Would it take coins or rings? Inquiring minds want to know...LOL

I'm not sure either....but I would say at the most a couple of inches....they have probably grabbed a good watch here and there. :o I'll have to find out where they dump the "trash" they pull from our beach. And I wonder if they would let you detect that spot ???

WOW...this website says that this machine can go 12" ......... http://www.cleanbeach.com/products.htm

This one is up to 3" ...... http://www.cherrington.net/products/950.html

Whereas this one is up to 4" ..... http://www.cherrington.net/products/3000.html

So, I guess they can get all the top layer good stuff!!!

LMAO on beach nazi's..

that sucks on that machine but I know a few folks over in OC.. so I will ask about this rake or whatever its called and I will find out where and when too... hows dat fer ya....lol... I will sweet talk it outta the one I know..hardy har har.

as far as the rake choose the cheepest one that can't do the job and thats the one they probably have or the company that donated the most to the township

am I being forced to live here, well, REALLY I would say YES, unless we would want to loose out on my hubbys retirement pension.. so we are stuck here till he retires in Jan.. and then make plans to leave..

Yep, stuck. I'd be marking the days on the calendar. I don't hate Jersey but I do have to admit I feel like an outsider the minute I hit the bridge. I never had a bad meal at Olga's though. Ever think of trying just a little bit south to DE for some tax-free living? Good luck to you BB!

Olga's has the best food...I used to live rite near there... Yea, it was really weird 20 yrs ago when we moved here... they aren't real friendly folks..lol..

as for leaving, hubbys from west Va. he wants to move back there...which is fine by me.. I just want a couple acres and no neighbors sitting ontop of me or the traffic we have here now...just want a laid back life and watch the flowers grow..
I really dont wanna move to Del. cause I think Del.. is gonna end up like jersey, since alot are moving there .. so I will pass on that one..no pun intended to anyone..
