Ehhh you can see the orange in water... black looks like seagull terd on bottom if dropped.

I'm always leery of "waterproof to 10 feet"......seems they always leak at 3 feet.

Don't know if I had anything to do with it - I been writing Garrett for years to do this since I had their original one
water proofed mine in Nov. but never tried it in the water - now I wont have to

I use shoe goo. Been doing it for three years now. I also have a lanyard on mine or I would loose it in the creeks! Beau Omemulet (aqua chigger) has a video about it on youtube
