most are recovered, most of the silver quarter survived, the indian heads turned out good shape, ,, but the point is even with a cheap detector you can find stuff,, most of what i had found was in one spot under a fire escape in hershey pa in a busted mason jar except the war era quarters

Thats what im hoping :-), Im new and it all the beeps and functions sounds the same, but I keep it simple honestly. "Beep=Dig a hole"

Always did the lowly pull tab signals. Years ago we were at the beach and a newlywed couple asked for our help because the wife had lost her ring in the sand.We were pretty new to detecting but sure enough,the mister found their ring after they showed him the general area where they were sitting and yep,it was a pull tab signal.
