i went to florida as kid on vacation with my parents you can find them all over the beach if u look

Thanks guys. I actually found it in the middle of the town, resting under an old tree, mostly on top the dirt and grass. 8.8 miles from where Tampa Bay spills into the Hillsborough River. There's a small creek that branches from the river, a mile and a half from my new favorite spot.

It's a baby Megalodon fossil tooth. Very cool find! At least 3.5 million years old, maybe as old as 23 myo or so.
