I'm no coin expert, but based on the "penny" and "half penny" markings, I'm going to go with yes they are coins, and based on the dates, I would guess they are worth more than face value - how much I will leave up to the experts.

Can I ask how you came by them??

I have a lot more. all ranging from 1900 to 1940, some in series ( 1909, 1910, 1911, 1912) My mother gave me them today from my old coin collection from when I was younger.

I found one of those large One Penny dated 1930...I didn't know what the heck Id found...I looked mine up and it wasn't worth much...look em up, you could have a rare date, you never know.
