Thanks, Mark

Lower left may be miniature harmonica reeds.

Post to chain band that has worn through on the iron thing. Maybe part of a chain to attach to something. Need better photos of the two items front and back.

I see the harmonica reeds too. Also, the circle thing with the steel balls (if that's what it is) looks like some kind of bearing. I can't make out the other things except the penny. Monty

The minature harmonica reed type thingys might be the fasteners from those old 4 buckle overshoes we had to wear through those northern winters in the 40's & 50's.

Naw, on second look they do look like harmonica reeds from a mini 2 inch, 4 note harmonica. Hated those overshoes anyway.

Is the wreath pin with the turquoise colored stones silver??

Thanks for the replies. The pin is not silver, it looks like copper. I still have no idea what the three things under the tag are.
Thanks, Mark

just-dig, those three things below the tag have been bugging me since you posted them. The iron piece you can figure to be a worn through double link for just about anything, but the two matching pieces are the challenge. It appears from the scan that one of those little arrow "devil's tails" has been broken off of both pieces, but on opposite sides. Is this correct when you look at them closely? Is there any evidence on the back that they might have had hinges of some kind on the bottom, such as what you sometimes find as closures on victorian photo albums? So far no idea what they are. Oh , one more question; as you fouind reeded instrument parts on the site, is their any evidence on those two objects that they ever had reeds attached by a small rivet on the backside?

The two feet lets call them do appear to be broken off when looked at under a glass. The breaks are different on each one. I don't see any evidence of anything being riveted to them, only the one hole at the top of each piece. These two pieces were found only a couple of feet away from the mini reeds. Are you thinking it's part of another instrument?
Thanks, Mark

Mark, either that or maybe part of the same instrument?
