We find these things everywhere on the Gulf beach we hunt on, they range from 1/2” to 2” across and look like possible fossil worm burrows. Anyone know for sure? They are solid rock and not petrified wood.

Ok thanks I have found that some of them have mussel shell fossil inclusions in them. We find them everywhere on the beach and they have that fossil look to them
