[Tector]

So they're worth millions-great. Thanks for the imput

[DigginThePast]

How big are they?

They look like the old yearly registration/license plate tags.

[Tector]

Theyre 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches
found them in same town 5 miles apart in iowa. I just started detecting and these are litereally 2 of 5 finds besides change! One heck of a coincidence or theres trillions of these.

Size is in the right range.

In the following pic of a license plate, notice in the red circled area. You can see the two slots the tabs would go in, then the tabs are folded over. Each year would require a new tab, we then went to stickers.

I'm also attaching a few photos that show several different styles of the year inserts.

The Guggleheim museum paid $700,000 for two tags like that 2 years ago. Apparently they're very rare in pairs! Give them a call.
