What are your coin roll hunting goals for 2012?

It will be fun to look back on this thread next November or December and see how close (or far) you are from hitting your mark.

Here are a few of mine in no particular order.

1) Search 1,000 boxes of half dollars.
2) Find a barber dime.
3) Grow my copper cent hoard to 1 ton (currently at 875 pounds).
4) Find a pre 1900 U.S. coin.

I think it will be tough for me to top 2011, but I would like to find a commemorative half, would prefer one of the old silver ones... Funny with all the halves I've scored from 1872 Canadian to Indian, British silver, Barbers, Walkers, Franklins, Silver proofs including a modern 90% silver proof, I've never scored even a modern clad commemorative. So, that's my wish for 2012.

Lots of people think that, but most street level dealers average less than minimum wage.

How do you know? Any insight that you might have? It could be more profitable until you get caught and then you'll never be accepted for a regular job ever again.

I'm working on the stock market. That could be more profitable or less profitable. LOL

I don't have any goals for next year. The way things are going now, I don't expect to beat this year's totals next year so I have low expectations. Although a 1969-S Doubled Die penny would be nice.

My goals for my first year of CRH,

1) 1 or 2 home depot buckets of copper and/or wheats.
2) another 250 40%
3) 100 90% halves
4) 100 silver dimes (Rosie or merc)
5) a full roll of war, buffalo nickels
6) at least one silver quarter found in either CWR or bank rolls.

Also, I will be getting two (2) boxes of halves ($1000), one (1) box of dimes ($250), one (1) box of nickels ($100), and two (2) boxes of pennies ($50) for a total budget of $1400 each week. Is it good that I spread out over all denominations

Good post! Here are my goals for 2012:
Find:
- at least one silver dollar at face value. (Canadian, Morgan, Peace)
- 250 silver dimes
-50 silver quarters
-10 George V Nickels
-proof silver half-dollars
-someone's dumped collection 8)
-100 Wheat pennies
-1 Indian head penny
- as many brass nickels as I could

Complete:
-1922-2012 nickel circulated collection in best possible grades
-1967 centennial set

I be happy to just find any silver. At the rate it is now in my area finding 1 per box is difficult.

I will be happy with 53 rolls of silver halves for the year. I hope they'll be 90% but what the heck - 40% will be fine. Oh yea, maybe a roll of silver dimes if the halves get really rare. It would be nice to score a couple Morgans/Peace dollars too. I don't have the time I used to so this might be the best I can do for face value silver.
