What artifacts will you leave behind?

This is something that I have been thinking about lately.(still don't know what mine will be)If it were all to hit the fan today,and we were gone.What do you think you have and use everyday would last the test of time to puzzle those that come after us.(like those who came before us left us)Points,tools musket balls etc...)Would there be anything left that we consider disposable?(bics,or zippos,pocket knives,fav.shot glass.)I will keep thinking,but for now I am wonderin what do ya'll think ......Neo

O.K. I got one....My cast iron fryin pans & my cast alu.crock pot(I use it for deep fryin.....Lots of fats and other organics to be tested.Thats all I can think of for now,that will stand the test of time anyway..Neo

most medal would be gone in 1000 yrs. im thinkin.... how about our styrofoam cups. i wish I grew up in a diferent age. I cant think of one think that would last 1000s of yrs. Maybe our ax heads. got it my dutch oven

Thousands of years from now archaeologists will probably get a good laugh at all the cheap, mass marketed crap that we'll leave behind. They will be very confused when they dig into my knapped flakes and debitage pit in the front yard, muhahah.

Glass will preserve pretty well I think. Be interesting to hear all the types they come up with.

Yeah I was thinking toilets and sinks. They will display them like we do our morters and pestles. Funny.

They will prolly learn more from what we collected from our past,then what we make and use now.

We'll leave roadways behind. Our immense spiderweb of roads will be covered by time, dirt and water. then grass and trees. But at some point, they will start uncovering them and wonder how and why we made them.

I wonder if they will be digging up our graves like we do our ancestors . I think ill take some spent bullets and a few points whith me lay them out so they will find them among my bones let them figure that one out . or maybe just a crapper for use in the afterlife
