some of you know i am struggling with a sef 10 by 12 coil swap!!! i want to use the sef for more coverage and not nescecerrilly depth!! the size/shape of the coil works well in no-current freshwater and would probably be fine for the gulf coast but had too much drag in the surf of the atlantic.
i thought it would be interesting to hear when where and why you use a certain coil...stock,sef,sunray,wot etc:
