Anchor pendant is what some call them...but I think naturegirl nailed it as well. Great piece even with the damage.

Is this piece meant to be worn around the neck? Why is it an "anchor"? Only barley looks like one.

there are a bunch of little scrapes and its pretty smooth where the other part of the anchor is, like they smoothed it out.

Cool, Its got the same bullet shape as a spud all in the form of a pendant. I've never seen one that size and up live before. Prehistoric American and the Central States Archaeological Journal Had a few features on the full size form. Way cool, man ! Thanks Lone Star
