Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!
Usually I plan on doing all the above, but always end up whining about not being able to do anything but dig us out and continually plow the driveway.
Man you guys are killing it, once again nicely done!
I use to go mining in the snow... Even while it was coming down. Usually only my backyard creek though. We'll see if I'll be doing any of that this year... No snow no rain so far. Darn drought. Good for some types of prospecting bad for others. And bad for the people who need drinking water.
Years ago some friends of mine and i went creviceing at a unmentioned creek here in Missouri. it was a yearly thing. but sadly they are gone now.i still think about them when we were out in Feb. panning our take from the cracks.
Snow?!?!? What's that? LOL Just kidding as we do get a dusting of it once in a great while. A couple of trips ago we found some that was in the shadow of Granite Mountain that hadn't melted yet. The ground in that area was still frozen. Made me feel sorry for those guys that have to deal with permafrost on a regular basis.
Minelab Gold Monster 1000, Grizzly Goldtrap Explorer & Motherlode, Gold Cube with trommel or Banker on top, Dream Mat combo sluice, Angus Mackirk Expedition, Gold-n-Sand Xtream Hand pump
I wait a couple days for the sun to come out (or not) and then I go down to the creek in my fleece and I DIG FOR GOLD! No such thing as bad weather, only poorly dressed miners ;-) ...at least here in Denver!
