Found This !!!!! I have this guy who insists this is a George Washington Button .... I am not really convinced but what do you guys say?

I am not an expert but I think the "star" is a bit to far from the edge. Hopefully someone will prove me wrong and you will have a GW button!

I can't tell. The GW buttons are absolutely flat, yours seems to have something of a curve to it.

Looks like it was a flower motiff to me not a GW. the line coming off the flower was the stem and off to the side of the stem remnants of a leaf are left. the star over the eagle on a GW didn't have a circle in it like yours does
