Sorry, what's unique about this elutriation tower? There was another, smaller 'patent pending' unit which looked to be made of abs drain parts a month or so back. It seems to have disappeared.

I think the hydrocon is a good piece of equipment. I think they are running too much water thru and that it would be more effective running less water.

The second funnel/trommel pictured looks effective too. Anything that will help contain the gold and stop it from running off is worth trying.

I'm making something similar to both. It's a very large funnel with water pumped in from the bottom of the funnel very slow. Enough water flow to keep the material stratified and no more. I'll take a video of it when I test it.
