I have one of those sitting on my desk right in front of me. One of the PWA engineers from Hartford gave it to me when we were working together.


I worked in East Hartford,I really use to enjoy going to the test cells watching engines being run,the F-100
when they went to after-burn was quite a site watching that blue flame go to a pin point.I saw so much in there over 27 years there.

I use this schneider-göttingen auswerte lupe used in WWII by nazi Luftwaffe to read aviation charts I believe-- it's 12x magnification works great for me and also allows me to take pretty good magnified pics with my iPhone !! Awesome tool for looking at coins! Jus with it had a tiny led light underneath but a maglite works fine!
