What does GOW stand for? It is on a metal leaf. Updated with Pic (8/7/06)

Today I found something that looks like it may have been a lapel pin. It is metal, about the size of a dime, and shaped like a leaf. It has the letters GOW on it. Any idea what it is an abbreviation for? I live in Georgia if that helps. Finally got scanner.

I believe that it stands for Girls of Woodcraft, a girls' organization founded in 1958 by the Woodmen, an insurance-benefit fraternal society.
