Neat button! I found a listing of another with some explanation of the scene shown.

ANTIQUE 1890'S PICTURE BUTTON-"LOHENGRIN'S FAREWELL TO ELSA" from WAGNER'S OPERA (07/10/2013)

THIS IS A NEAT LATE 19th CENTURY VICTORIAN BUTTON WITH A STAMPED BRASS FRONT DEPICTING THE SCENE FROM RICHARD WAGNER'S OPERA BY THE SAME NAME, WHERE LOHENGRIN BIDS FAREWELL TO HIS BRIDE ELSA (THIS IS THE SAME ROMANTIC OPERA WHERE WE GET OUR TRADITIONAL PROCESSIONAL WEDDING SONG "BRIDAL CHORUS" OR HERE COMES THE BRIDE)-THIS BUTTON HAS A PIERCED TWINKLE RIM LINED WITH SHINY WHITE METAL, MEASURES 11/16" IN DIAMETER WITH A METAL BACK AND STEEL LOOP SHANK, AND IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION---
