✅ SOLVED WHAT IS IT? A Wrench..NON DUG/HELP PLEASE !

Approx.9in. long,2in.at widest across(tappers)made of PINE(?) has HEX bolt on side,i'm sure to release metal wrench?...I have NOT loosened the hex yet.Any idea's on age,MFG.,History?
Any help/input on object is welcome..THANK'S ALL & HH !!!
