Was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of lamp this is and what it may be worth. Thank you very much.

Is it electric or oil (wick) driven?

It is electric. Doesnt appear to have visible markings. But havent tried to take it apart yet. Again thank you for any kind of help

Thank you for the info. It is great to actually know what to call it.

Thank you very much for your help. Just wish there was somekind of marking on it but none to my knowledge. Good thing is i at least have a direction. Thanx again

Your lamp is often referred to as a "Gone With The Wind" lamp. Many older kerosene lamps were converted to electric also, just a little food for thought. Yours is not a Fostoria lamp, but it is a parlor or hurricane lamp. Nice 8 reales coin too.

Thanks for the info.very helpful. Been spending a lot of hours online. Glad to have come across this site!
