I think desertexplorer is correct with it being part of a broken porcelain telephone pole insulator.

This is most likely the style insulator that your find would have been. The hump on the insulator in your second photo would have been the top. This style insulator was common on old farm houses and barns. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1598884301.619686.jpg
