What is the best way to ship my Minelab?

Flying on JetBlue soon anyone know the best way to ship my Excalibur? I have the straight shaft conversion so it's too long for a suit case. Thinking of a hard gun case but wondering if it will draw attention.

I have taken Southwest and took my DFX as a carry on. No problems.

How about a golf club case? Personally I'd take the coil and electronics in my carryon and only check in the rods. A lot cheaper if they lose your luggage.
