Detector(s) used
Teknetics T2 Special Edition
I have Minelab Excalibur 1000 that worked fine but wanted to replace the wiring, so bought the wiring etc, but I just don't have to time put it back together.
Where would be the best place for this? (I have an aluminum straight shaft and the curved blue shaft that came with it.

Still have the box and instructions for the detector too.
Thanks

To be honest, you should replace coil and headphones, replacing just the cable really isnt isnt the answer as it will contain splice at coil windings.

If you are wanting to sell it for parts you will need to become charter member, only supporting vendors and charter members can sell here per our rules. Without seeing close up pictures of control pod and battery case cant give value. Looking at about $500-$600 to repair.

Below is link to Detector Repair Center , they used to be Minelab repair center. Now they only do nonwarranty repairs, Minelab is doing their own repairs now in house in Chicago.

You can also check with Tony Eisenhower for Excal repairs and modifications. He's done all mine for years.

I'm not looking to repair it.. just to sell the parts. Main reason is that I used to be a block from the beach, but I am no longer close.

You could try to sell it here for parts, but you would need to become charter member to do so. That is $20 a year, only cm and supporting vendors can sell here per owner's rules.

From clicking on your photos it enlarges them so they can be viewed better. Maybe also take a few photos of each part showing the different sides to give the viewership an idea on the overall condition.

Since your just parting the detector out, photograph it's weak points(any issues) as it cuts through any doubts. It's a kind of a "you get what you see type of thing."

Seriously $20 for a membership isn't a whole lot of money considering it would many times more if you flogged the unit on eBay or similar selling platform.
(Note you have a captive viewership here)

Honestly the only parts worth anything are in this picture
Battery case
Control tube
main board
ikelite fitting

The most desired and fastest sell would be the board.
