What Is The Percentage Of Whole Point's To Brokes At Your Favorite Hunting Spot

I have been looking at my collection and at my cans of brokes and was wondering what would you estimate the percentage of whole point's to broke point's at your favorite hunting spot. By broke I mean the tip completely broken off to where it is about half of the point ? At my place I'd have to say it is about 50/50.

Around 90% brokes to good for the most part. 1 field gave up over 300 pieces and maybe 10 where whole. That was earlier this summer in a plowed field now creeks are just the opposite with almost all finds being whole.

My favorite site is a clovis site and I am currently at 100/0 (all broken.) I have some later sites where I'm probably 50/50, but the plow isn't kind.

At my favorite field I'd say the broke / whole percentage would be 60 / 40, it's an mx track that hasn't ever been plowed to my knowledge. At my favorite creek spot I'd say it's around 30 / 70.

At my favorite spot to hunt, I have only been allowed to hunt three times. There are so many brokes on the ground in sight you could fill up 5 gallon drums of broke tips, ears, stems, scrapers and big tools and blanks in no time at all if you just picked em up. It would take a team of folks workin for weeks to get it done. Hole nice heads to brokes found out there digging were 50 / 50. In general for all hunts for me surface and dug, the first 100 whole heads I have found I have 1000 pieces. I will only bring home a piece of scraper , big tool or blank if the work or the rock are of exceptional quality now. ( it wasn't always like that ) A lot of stuff from the early days has finally made it to the midden pile in the yard.

for me about one perfect one out of every 5 or i gotta find about 6 brokes before i find a good one
